Every visionary needs people to believe in what they see. The problem is rarely the vision. It's the translation.

So the instinct is to get a brand. When you're early, you don't need someone who will spend four weeks researching, two weeks workshopping, and then hand you a PDF with flashy text and a million restrictions. That process was designed for companies that already know what they are. You don't know what you are yet — you're still figuring it out. A brand bible for anything that's still rapidly iterating is a monument to guessing.

You want to reach out. Marketers start from the top down — channels, funnels, analytics, campaigns. That works when you already have something to say. When you're early, you don't need distribution. You need something worth distributing.

No one will join your vision if they can't understand what you're doing. The first job is making sense of what you are and building the communication that proves it.

  1. IF YOU'RE BUILDING AN MVP, YOU NEED — BUT ONLY NEED — AN MVB.

Your brand isn't a layer you paint on after the product is ready. It's how people understand what you're building while you're still building it. The deck you use to raise. The packaging you use to test demand. The cover you show to stand out in the crowd. If you wait until the product is "done" to figure out your brand, you've already lost months of credibility, trust, and momentum.

But you only need just enough to be taken seriously. A clear story. A visual identity that holds. The essential touchpoints together forming a presence that says "these people know what they're doing", which is really a skeleton that grows with you as we learn, pivot, and build.

  1. MAKE SENSE. THEN MAKE IT REAL.

Every project starts the same way — with a thread of entangled thoughts, ambitions, and half-formed ideas. Our job is to find the clarity inside that thread and turn it into communication that hits. Strategy and design happening at the same time, iterating as quickly as you are. Together we test early, learn from mistakes and understand them as a team.

Sometimes that's one sharp artifact built to unlock a specific moment. Sometimes it's an entire brand built from nothing. The format doesn't matter. What matters is that people finally understand what you do, why it matters, and why they should care.
